Meet Our Bloggers

Our blog posts are always unique and amazing, but that would not be possible without the people behind the keyboards. Our writers all have their own individual, fresh voices and they do not get enough credit so we have dedicated an entire post to our team.

Though we have a few guest writers, our main bloggers consists of these members of our chapter development team.


Kaitlyn Patrick, who also goes by KP, is a 20-year-old public relations major and a sports communications minor. Some little known facts about her are that she has been dancing since she was 3 years old and she can sing the National Anthem.


Carman Plank is a public relations major.This 21-year-old hopes to run a nonprofit that will benefit military families.


Kwame Lyde, 23, is a communications major. Once, when Kwame was in California, he saw Paris Hilton!


Kaitlyn Baase is not only the fearless leader and president of our chapter of PRSSA, but this 21-year-old public relations major is obsessed withTaylor Swift.


Mari Ann Loucks is a 20-year-old public relations major. She is the social media manager for our chapter of PRSSA and she is in love with elephants.


Chandler Owen, 18, is a public relations major and has attended over 30 concerts!


Alexa Torres is a 20-year-old public relations major who came to us all the way from Alaska!


Katie Thornsberry, age 19, is a public relations major and she is also the youngest of seven siblings.


Lauren Dooley is a 19-year-old marketing major, and a little known fact about Lauren is that she is a type 1 diabetic and has been since she was a baby!
