Ever wonder what goes on backstage to prepare for the many activities PRSSA members get to enjoy, like PRBQ, Festivus and Senior Sendoff?  Well Betsy Garby and her team in Internal Relations are hard at work planning and preparing for all these and much more!

The Internal Relations crew work hard every week to put on events for all of PRSSA to enjoy.  Recently, they have set up an agency tour in Lansing, MI in November and are working on setting up fundraisers to help pay for all these events.

Vice President of Internal Relations, Betsy Garbe, is doing a splendid job leading this group!  Betsy is a junior in the Public Relations program and work for the University Advancement and Marketing Department.

“We’re really excited to expand on things we have started in previous years. We’re trying to get more involved with other groups in PRSSA, like writing student spotlights, to get a more well-rounded experience in PRSSA,” said Garbe about Internal R

elations this year.

“I’m really excited for all the fun activities we have planned and I can’t wait to see how it all comes together,” says McPhee.

Earlier in the year, Internal put on the annual PRBQ and it was huge success!

“Those who came had a really good time! We got to know a few of the new members really well.  It went pretty smoothly and I was happy with how everything played out,” said Garbe.

The rest of PRSSA is excited to see what Internal has in store for us this year!
