The week leading up to the Homecoming game on October 13th was filled with events including the tailgate.
Saturday morning, the Ferris parking lots by Top Taggart Field were occupied with tents of spirited Bulldog fans getting ready to watch the homecoming football game against Hillsdale. Among those tents were the college of pharmacy, alumni, the College of Business and much more, all preparing food with excitement as time neared towards the beginning of the game. Students and professors from organizations such as PRSSA and the American Marketing Association (AMA) attended the event and were under the college of business tent. The weather was less than ideal with rain and predictions of snow, yet that did not stop the College of Business tailgaters from cooking hotdogs and having a good time supporting their Bulldogs!
During the game Byron Williams and Avery Larson were crowned homecoming queen and king. Both students are seniors in the Public Relations Program. Congratulations!
Unfortunately, the bulldogs did not pull out a victory against Hillsdale. The final score was 30-20. However, the events leading up to the game were a success!
